Los Angeles County Wildfires 2025
Offical Statement from The Beach Boys
The Beach Boys have posted the following on their social media outlets:
Southern California inspired us to write about sunny beaches, iconic coastlines, and vibrant communities — the home that shaped so much of who we are. Our hearts are with everyone affected by the wildfires.
We are deeply saddened by the devastating fires affecting our Southern California community. Our hearts go out to everyone affected during this difficult time.
To aid in relief efforts, we have compiled a list of resources for those seeking assistance and places to donate for those who can offer support. Together, we can help rebuild and restore what has been lost.
Stay safe, take care of one another, and let’s come together as a community to heal.
With love and hope,
The Beach Boys
DONATIONS
The Beach Boys have recommended the following organizations for those who wish to donate to the relief effort:
- California Fire Foundation is taking donations to provide aid and resources for both fire crews and residents.
- The American Red Cross is accepting donations online. The organization plays a role in disaster recovery by providing emergency shelters, meals, medical care, and recovery planning services.
- The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation is the official nonprofit for the Los Angeles City Fire Department. The organization supports over 3,000 local firefighters and paramedics by providing equipment and tools to help them fight wildfires effectively.
- The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank provides year-round food assistance to those facing hunger and also acts as a first responder during natural disasters. They are currently accepting online donations to support their efforts.
RESOURCES
The Beach Boys have also provided the following resources to help those affected by the fires:
- Watch Duty is an App you may use for updates regarding the fires.
- 211 LA has partnered with Airbnb to offer free temporary shelter for people displaced from their homes by fire.
- The California Department of Insurance has a Wildfire Resource page offering guides for residential property claims and tips for claimants.

Individual BB Updates
Brian Wilson: “Brian, his family and pets evacuated their home last Wednesday [1-8-25]. Their hearts go out to everyone affected by the tragic Los Angeles fires. They want to thank the Los Angeles Fire Department and the other fire departments who have come from all over to help. They also want to send love to the selfless volunteers who jumped in to help and the amazing outpouring of support for the community. Love & Mercy.”
Al Jardine: “Mary Ann & I join Brian and salute LA firefighters and volunteers. Go to my website (aljardine.com) for a list of organizations you can donate to, to help those affected by the wildfires. We are both praying that the winds die down this week and the worst is over.”
Blondie Chaplin: “It's sad to see places I used to visit when I first came to America up in smoke and be no more. I used to go to Historic Will Rogers State Park, visit to see his ranch house, have a little picnic with my family and watch The Polo matches on a Sunday. Peaceful, relaxing & necessary outing to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. My heart goes out to all the people who have lost their peaceful living lifestyle throughout Los Angeles. We ask the Lord to heal the hurt in Los Angeles. Amen.”
